Cutting the cable on your sensor without first obtaining a waiver will void the warranty on your sensor. If you would like to cut the cable on your sensor, please submit a ticket to technical support to request a waiver to do so.
Upon receiving your request, we will give you a waiver to sign and send back to us. Once we receive your signed form, we will send you a set of detailed instructions on how to properly cut the cable. If you have any further questions please contact Velodyne technical support.
